On Tuesday I told you about what God is [re]teaching me. I am always amazed at His ability to swoop in and fight off the blues. The complacency. The poor pitiful me’s. It’s almost always in a string of little things that the shell of ickyness is chipped away. A moment amidst the thought web. A song that helps me remember His power in my life.
A night of studying God’s Word with some of my favorite women. A verse tucked amidst the Exodus that speaks directly to my soul.
I stand amazed. Every. Single. Time. Because a week ago I was frustrated and negative and swimming in the funk. Do you see? That I couldn’t have done it myself. That you can’t do it yourself. But that God DID swoop in and renew my heart. In His way. In His time. In His utterly amazing grace. That He can and will do the same for you. The Lord will fight for you, sweet friend. You need only be still.

Wow Em! I am struggling today and I really needed this. This verse of scripture confirms so much for me. So if ever/whenever you are in a "funk" again and let's be honest, it's bound to happen! KNOW that the Lord uses you in such a mighty way. Thanks for being HIS vessel!!!!
